Geostatistical Analysis
Economic Evaluation of Mineral Resource depends on the accuracy of the Mineral Resource Estimation (MRE) process. The estimation of the Mineral Resource is very crucial in implementing conclusion about the opening of the new mines and for future planning investments for any operational mines. Estimation of resource and grade form a foundation of any successful mining operations. The method of estimating the resources should be determined for its accuracy to avoid overestimation and underestimation which can results into ruthless consequences in the future mine planning. In the case where reserve is overestimated, mine planning will be done on the estimation area where there is no profitable ore that exist.
The Company aim to propose alternative approach which assesses uncertainty associated with mineral resource by applying geostatistical estimation method (OK) and conditional simulation on the data. Risk analysis will be performed on the realization obtained to assess the worst and the best scenarios
